In last month’s column I wrote about there being “no time to waste”, and we could easily have that phrase on repeat this month. But urgency alone isn’t enough. We need ambition over repetition. As Parliament reconvenes and business leaders prepare for the Treasurer’s Economic Reform Roundtable, we must resist the comfort of familiar paths and instead push for bold reforms that deliver real change.
